Instructor Information
Pat Wagner will be instructing the Low Angle Rescue, Ascending, Rope Rescue Operations, and Rappelling & Rigging courses. Pat has a B.S. Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, former search & rescue team leader, volunteers with Waldens Ridge Emergency Service, staff instructor for Progressive Rescue Solutions, Inc., owner of Mountain Rope Safety Courses, Previous N.F.P.A. committee member for the development of Professional Rescue Technicians Qualifications standard 1006 and has been working in the medical field for 20 years. She has trained several agencies across the United States and has a small training center in the East Tennessee Cumberland Plateau which provides excellent mountainous terrain for rope rescue scenarios.
Jerry Smith will be instructing Rope Rescue Technician (formerly Rope Rescue Technician III), Tower / Antenna, Confined Space Rescue, River Rope Rescue & the Anchoring classes. He is the owner and senior instructor of Progressive Rescue Solutions, Inc., Co-Author of CMC Rope Rescue Manual, Former President of American Safety and Rescue, school director for CMC/EMC Rope Rescue School and has trained several hundred agencies, through-out the United States and internationally, rope rescue skills.
Pat and Jerry bring 50 years of experience from the field of active rope rescue and training personnel, in order to provide quality training.
